GUILTY PLEA ENTERED BY ACCUSED CHILD PORNOGRAPHEROn January 14, 2008, JONATHAN DOYLE GANDY of Seminary, Mississippi, pleaded guilty to possessing and receiving child pornography. GANDY was arrested on 11/30/07 at his residence, pursuant to an arrest warrant issued from the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi in Hattiesburg. Following an investigation by the FBI, GANDY was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury on November 20, 2007, for possession, receiving, and distributing child pornography (Title 18, United States Code Sections 2252(a)(4)(B), 2252(a)(2), and 2253, respectively). The case was presented to the Grand Jury by Assistant United States Attorney Glenda Haynes. GANDY is scheduled to be sentenced April 1, 2008, in Federal Court before United States District Court Judge Keith Starrett in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. FBI
Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Frederick Brink stated, "The Federal
Bureau of Investigation will, with unwavering determination, fully identify,
investigate and refer to the United States Attorneys for prosecution all
child pornographers, sexual predators, and others who would do harm to
