REWARD OFFERED IN SHELBY BANK ROBBERYOn Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at approximately 10:30 a.m., two black males entered the DELTA SOUTHERN BANK, located at 905 Broadway Street in Shelby, Mississippi. In the process of the robbery, a teller was assaulted and an undisclosed sum of money was taken. The robbers are described as follows: Robber #1: Race: Black Sex: Male Age: 18 to 25 Height: 5'-6" to 5'-8" Weight: Approximately 150 lbs Clothing: Wearing green- striped shirt, carrying open umbrella Robber #2 Race: Black Sex: Male Age: 18 to 25 Height: 5'-6" to 5'-8" Weight: Approximately 150 lbs Clothing: Wearing brown long-sleeve shirt and stocking cap
Attached are surveillance photographs of the robbers. Frederick T. Brink, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI in Mississippi, Sheriff Mack Grimmett, Bolivar County Sheriff, and Chief Marion Bedford, Shelby, Mississippi Police Department, are announcing a cash reward for any information leading to the arrests and successful prosecution of the individuals responsible for this bank robbery.
