FBI NEWS AND ‘MOST WANTED’ UPDATES IN YOUR E-MAIL

Stephen F. Gomez, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Mississippi, announced as follows:

The FBI’s Jackson Field Office now offers e-mail updates on local FBI news and the latest changes to Mississippi’s “Most Wanted” lists, which may include terrorists and fugitives, missing persons, unknown bank robbers, and other cases in which the FBI is seeking your help.

To get the local e-mail updates, go to the Jackson Field Office FBI website at http://jackson.fbi.gov) and navigate to the Press Release and “Most Wanted” pages. There you will find red envelope icons and links inviting you to subscribe. No personal information is required, just an e-mail address where the alerts will be sent. Subscribers can select to receive press releases and Most Wanted updates from their local office, or from any of the FBI’s 56 field offices.

Subscribers can also receive updates from the FBI’s main website, www.fbi.gov, which include FBI stories, warnings on new e-scams, Most Wanted Terrorists, the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, and national and local press releases. Subscribers can receive updates as they are posted online, or in daily, weekly, or monthly digests.
