John G. Raucci, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Mississippi, announced as follows:

On February 22, 2006, the following three individuals were charged in a federal complaint with Bank Robbery in connection with the February 14, 2006 robbery of the Wachovia Bank in Ocean Springs, Mississippi: DAVID DUANE JOHNSON, aka "Jinx", age 33 of Superior, Wisconsin; AARON SCHREIBER, aka "Cap", age 24 of Wisconsin; and DANNETTE V. BROUSSARD, age 32, of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

JOHNSON, SCHREIBER and BROUSSARD had an initial appearance in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi on February 22, 2006 before United States Magistrate Judge Robert H. Walker in Gulfport, Mississippi. All three defendants were ordered held without bond at the Harrison County Jail in Gulfport, Mississippi, pending a Preliminary Hearing and a Detention Hearing, set for March 1, 2006 at the Federal Courthouse in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Additionally, there is an outstanding warrant for Escape for DAVID DUANE JOHNSON from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, Waukesha, Wisconsin.

If convicted of the bank robbery charges against them, each defendant faces a sentence of up to 20 years in a federal penitentiary and a fine of up to $250,000.

These arrests and charges against these individuals are a result of a joint investigation by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force in Pascagoula, Mississippi, the Ocean Springs Police Department and the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

The FBI Safe Streets Task Force is a Gulf Coast High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) initiative and receives funding from the Office of National Drug Control Policy in Washington, D.C. It is made up of Special Agents from the FBI and law enforcement officers from the Pascagoula, Moss Point, Gautier, and Ocean Springs Police Departments, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.

Raucci stressed that arrests and complaints are accusations only and there is a presumption of innocence prior to any judicial proceeding.
