FBI SEEKS "DYING" BANK ROBBER

On Monday, August 7, 2006, the Regions Bank, located at 801 Spring Street, Waynesboro, Mississippi, was robbed by an unidentified white male at approximately 12:15 p.m. The bank robber, who was described as being about six feet tall, weighing about 175 pounds, with dark brown or black shoulder-length hair, and between 20 and 30 years of age, pointed a handgun at a bank teller and proceeded to demand money. During the process of the robbery, he stated that he did not have long to live. Following the robbery, the suspect fled the bank on foot.

The FBI , the Waynesboro Police Department, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation are following all leads in attempting to locate the individual responsible for this bank robbery.
