Dear Law Enforcement Executive,

I am pleased to announce our fifth Mississippi Command College course has been scheduled to take place during the week of July 26 through July 31, 2009, at the Oxford campus of the University of Mississippi.  Curriculum subjects are executive law enforcement leadership, media relations and legal issues, and several additional topics planned for inclusion.  The training will be delivered by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Academy faculty and Jackson Division certified police instructors, as well as by other subject matter experts.

The target audience for the Mississippi Command College is Chiefs of Police, Sheriffs and immediate command staff, as well as corresponding senior executive level managers of state investigative agencies within Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee.  Slots for attending this course are limited, therefore, interested individuals must apply as soon as possible.  Applications will be reviewed and notifications of acceptance will be sent in late June.

A detailed information sheet and an application are available on the FBI, Jackson Division, web site at www.jackson.fbi.gov.  Applications to attend must be received no later than July 3, 2009.  For additional information, please contact Special Agent Steve Godfrey, FBI, Jackson Division Training Coordinator, at 601-948-1562.

I look forward to your participation in this very important training.

Sincerely,

Frederick T. Brink
